GBCE to facilitate a workshop at PHIST 2019
Armelle Le Bihan will be speaking at PHIST 2019 in Phuket this coming September 23rd. Along with two fellow speakers, John Farrell, Co-founder and Managing Director, XCo2 and Hakan Akgün, Vice President – Engineering, Sustainability, and Security, Rosewood Hotel Group, she will be holding a workshop covering the sustainability aspects of design and construction of hospitality projects.

Phuket is set to push the sustainability agenda when it plays host Southeast Asia’s largest green hospitality event Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism (PHIST) 2019 on September 23rd. With 1,000 participants expected, a main event, seven workshops and over sixty green suppliers, the free-to-attend one-day conference is organized by the Phuket Hotels Association, C9 Hotelworks, Greenview and takes place at the Hilton Phuket. This high-profile event focuses on green tourism and hotel topics relevant to Southeast Asia and beyond and will explore subjects such as destination development, ocean health and impacts, hotel sustainability governance, community tourism, and global trends on sustainability. Speakers include a mix of industry experts from both local and international organizations.
