  • LEED Certification Consultancy and Implementation

  • Building performance optimization

LVMH is setting this winery to be a green lighthouse, exemplary in terms of sustainable development from the vineyard to the cellar. They envision the winery to be a catalyzer of impactful change across the wine production industry. For this, the vineyard is undergoing an organic conversion and has also taken steps in reducing the environmental footprint of their packaging by proposing an innovative ultra-light recyclable bottle made from “prevented ocean plastic” as well as recycled glass brown bottles. As for the facilities, they are being renovated and designed to meet the most stringent building environmental certifications available. The site also aims to reach carbon neutrality by 2025 and to be carbon positive by 2028. GBCE has been appointed as the sustainability and green building consultant to lead the project towards environmental stewardship and achieve the highest levels of LEED certification.
