Certification Levels within EDGE

Certification Levels within EDGE

There are three levels of EDGE certificate which a project can achieve.

​

LEVEL 1: EDGE Certified - The Project achieve EDGE certificate if it achieve at least 20% savings in energy, water and embodied carbon.

​

LEVEL 2: EDGE Advanced - The project achieves EDGE advance certificate if it achieves at least 40% savings in energy and at least 20% savings in water and embodied carbon.

​

LEVEL 3: EDGE Zero Carbon - A project needs to achieve the two following requirements:

  1. Obtain an EDGE Advanced certificate for the project;

  2. Have 100% of its energy demand supplied by renewable onsite or offsite or through purchase of carbon offsets.
